Anushka Sharma is an Bollywood actress and producer. She has been awarded numerous acting prizes and is considered to be one of the top-paid actors. Anushka Sharma is the youngest child of Kumar Sharma (retd.) and Ashima Sharma. She was born in Ayodhya the state of Uttar Pradesh on May 1st 1988. Anushka Sharma's father is an ex-colonel. and her mother is a homemaker. Karnesh Sharma is her younger brother. Karnesh Sharma was a member of the Merchant Navy, and is now a producer of films. Anushka Sharma has completed her education at the Army School, Bangalore and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Anushka Sharma has a master in Arts of Economics. Anushka did not want to becoming an actor, but a reporter or model. Anushka Sharma relocated to Mumbai in order to enroll at Elite Model Management and be groomed under the guidance of style consultant Prasad Bidapa. In the year 2017 Anushka was the first model to debut in the Wendell Rodricks' Les Vamps Show at Lakme Fashion Week and was chosen by him to be the finale model at the Spring Summer 2007 Collection. Anushka has worked with several brands since her debut as models at Lakme Fashion Week. She's worked on campaigns with Fiat Palio, Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry, and Fiat Palio. Anushka began giving film auditions along with her modelling. In 2008 Anushka Sharma made her acting debut with the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite Shah Rukh Khan. In her screen test she refused to perform an impromptu one and took a day to prepare herself. Later, she signed up for three films together with Yash Raj Films. In one of them, she played the role of a young, middle-aged bride male (the part Shah Rukh Khan was playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka played Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang and Vir Das in the movie Badmash Company. The film was met with mixed praise. Anushka appeared alongside Ranveer in the film "Band Baaja Baaraat', in which she portrayed an Punjabi middle class woman who started her own business. The film received a positive review. Anushka finished her deal of three films with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
